Hi, my name is Andrew, and I am the Chief Flight Instructor at GLA. My aviation journey began at 13 when I joined the Air Cadets. At the cadets I received my PPL, allowing me to move forward in my Commercial Training. My training was completed in Ontario at Brantford Flight Centre and Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre, I also instructed at both facilities. I have experience on a large variety of aircraft including floats, tailwheels, and multi engine. Just like every student I am constantly looking to improve and broaden my skillset and have recently taken on acrobatic flying lessons. The best moments being an instructor are when you can see something ‘click’ for a student in their flight training. I look forward to flying with you!

My tip for students is to remember that everyone’s paths in aviation look different. At GLA we realize this, and will work with you to make your aviation goals a reality no matter what they look like.
